New governmental fee on issuance of “Red Book”

On 26 July 2010, Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 106/2010/TT-BTC providing regulations on governmental fees applicable upon issuance of Certificate of Land Use Right, Certificate of Residential House Ownership Right and other asset attached to land.

Accordingly, individuals and households living in urban area shall pay 100,000 VND/ a certificate applicable to the first certification of land use right attached with asset. A maximum fee for re-issuance of the certificate is 50,000 VND/ a certificate. A level fee of 25,000 VND/ a certificate shall be applicable upon issuance of land use right certificate without attached assets and re-issuance fee is 20,000 VND/ a certificate.

For legal entities, a level fee of 500,000 VND/ a certificate shall be applicable for the first certification. A level fee of 100,000 VND/ a certificate will be applicable in case of issuance of land use right certificate without assets attached to the land.

This Circular shall come into effect on 09 September 2010.
