Circular No. 104/2011/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance on amendment and supplementation of Circular No. 11/2010/TT-BTC guiding the implementation of tax obligation to the offshore investment of Vietnamese investors
According to this Circular, in the event of termination of an offshore investment project with the losses not fully offset and the Vietnamese enterprise has to take it, then the losses will be declared and offset against the taxable income of the enterprise in Vietnam and only be allowed to carried onshore if the project terminated earlier.

Circular No. 96/2011/TT-BTC dated 14/07/2011 guiding the implementation of financial policy stipulated in Decision No. 12/2011/QD-TTg dated 24/2/2011 of the Prime Minister on development policy towards some supporting industries
Accordingly, projects which are included in the List of Sectors Eligible for Import Duties Preferences stipulated in Annex I attached to Decree No. 87/2010/ND-CP of the Government dated 13/08/2010 or invested in geographical areas entitling import tax incentives shall be exempted from import tax on equipment, machinery, specialized means of transportation of a technological line which are not yet domestically produced and means of transportation including cars of 24 seats or more used for transporting employees, etc;
